Whether you’re training or at a races, as a member of Darwin Triathlon Club, you are provided with the environment and motivation you need to stay fit, healthy and competitive.

There are opportunities to make new friends and meet new training partners and you can participate in training sessions conducted by accredited triathlon coaches. As well, sponsors and Triathlon Australia offer discounts to DTC members

As a member of Triathlon NT & Triathlon Australia you are covered by insurance for both training and racing (members are encouraged to read the insurance coverage information to understand what is covered as part of this membership).

The spiritual home of DTC is at Lake Alexander, East Point. Thanks to the support of the NT Government, we were able to build a spacious club shed that ensures we have all equipment on hand to successfully and safely run the majority of our events, which we hold at East Point.

You will receive regular club E Newsletters and you are eligible for club race points and awards if participating and volunteering at club races.

You have access to a range of club designer clothing. When you wear the Darwin Triathlon Club colours at any race, at home or away, you are bound to get a cheer and lots of encouragement.

You can enjoy organised social events, including Presentation Night function and the Christmas Event. Club BBQ events and social gatherings are also organised throughout the season for special occasions.

As a member of Triathlon NT and Triathlon Australia you can gain priority entry to major races that often sell out quickly when opened to the general public. You may also be eligible for lower entry fees as an annual member who is exempted from one-day membership fees.

You will be eligible to accumulate points in the Australian National Triathlon Championship Series and to become the National Series Champion in your age group.

You will be eligible to compete for State and National Championships in sprint, Olympic, long course distance triathlons as well as duathlon and aquathlon.

You will be eligible to represent Australia at ITU Age Group and Elite World Championship events;

You will receive regular communication and updates from the National and State associations; reduced prices on magazine subscriptions and other products offered from time to time by state associations.

Membership also provides you with public liability and personal accident insurance cover while racing in sanctioned events and training for sanctioned events.
